Dig Up A Good Book!

June 9 through July 31
Age 4 — Grade 8 

Pick up a reading log beginning June 9 and keep track of your reading time. Receive awards for every seven days that you read for at least 20 minutes:

• Reading Log #1: Reading Certificate + Entertainment or Food Coupons + Special Prize
• Reading Log #2: Your Name on the Reader Wall (preK and elementary students only) + Special Prize
• Reading Log #3: Free Paperback Book!
• Additional Logs : Play the guessing game for a chance to win one of six Grand Prizes

(Book bags filled with a reading club t-shirt, books , and other goodies )

Tickets and registration not required. Recommended ages are listed. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

06/29 Family Movie Night: Babe the Gallant Pig (2 & up)
07/06 Family Game Night: Board games (ages 2 & up)
07/13 Family Movie Night: Shrek (ages 2 & up)
07/20 Family Story Time: Summer Surprises (ages 2-10)
07/27 Family Game Night: Board games (ages 2 & up)

Seating is limited, tickets are required for admission.

Tickets are free, and will be issued first-come, first-served at the Youth Services Desk beginning at 9 a.m. on the day of the show. A valid Flower Mound Library card must be presented to receive tickets. Limit of eight tickets per group. Children must be age 4 or older to attend.

Parents and younger siblings may wait in the library, where activities for the younger children will be provided. Children are encouraged to attend alone if possible, to maximize the number of spaces available for children. If children attend alone, a responsible person age 14 or over must remain in the library during the program.
