Flower Mound’s Park Services Division maintains almost 700 acres of parkland. This includes more than 30 miles of multi-purpose trails that link together parks, neighborhoods, schools, and businesses and 3.5 miles of equestrian trails.

Many of the approximately 50 parks in Flower Mound offer a variety of playgrounds, covered picnic shelters, cooking grills, park benches, and basketball play pads.
Residents can also enjoy numerous youth and adult baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, and public tennis courts. Several even offer fishing (bring your own equipment)!

Where was the picture taken of that cute bridge on one of the FM parks?
The bridge is located near Stone Creek Park. If you were looking at a map, it would be near 1500 Yaggi (NE of Morriss and Forest Vista). There’s a playground and gazebo at the park, and lots of winding trails in that area. Just east of the park, you’ll find the bridge pictured (along with another one further east). Between the two bridges, there’s a creek with some big boulders, ripples of water, etc. It’s a very popular place for kids to explore, as well as a great area to take pictures. Enjoy!
