Highland Village Parks & Trails

The City of Highland Village offers an array of parks, trails, sports fields and water sports.  The beautiful park system includes a broad range of amenities to enjoy from swimming with the kids, playing baseball or soccer to camping or boating.

Copperas Branch Park is a regional park leased from the US Amry Corps of Engineers and is located on the shoreline of Lake Lewisville.  The Park is approximately 74.90 acres in size and is open year round.
The park has a fee for admission and is open to the general public. Recreational facilities included at Copperas Branch Park are picnic tables, restrooms, a boat ramp, beach and swim area, parking lot, and public practice baseball and soccer fields.
 

 

 
Unity Park (& Kids Kastle) is the City’s Community Park and is located at 2200 Briarhill Blvd.  This  38 acre park contains softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, an in-line hockey court, soccer fields, a small pond, fishing pier and Kids Kastle playground as well as many other amenities.

Pilot Knoll Park is a beautiful park bordering Lake Lewisville.  It is accessible via Orchid Hill Road.  This park is 65 to 85 acres (depending on the water level) and is perfect for nature lovers, campers, hikers, horseback riders and anyone who likes spending time outdoors.

This area includes grill, picnic table, fire ring and water hookups at each site:

  • 9 RV and tent campsites with 50 Amp Electrical Hookup

  • Restroom Facility with Showers
  • Playground Area with picnic table and grill

Day Use Area:

  • Boat Ramp and Dock
  • Large and Medium pavilions with grills, electricity, water and picnic tables
