The Ark at First Baptist Church Coppell
The Ark located in First Baptist Coppell (590 S Denton Tap Rd in Coppell) is a great indoor play area for kids of all ages.
Open hours vary, depending on the time of year (there is less open play time during the school year, when the church has a preschool program), but entrance is free.
Summer hours are 9am-5pm Mon-Thurs & 9am-12pm Fri. Please check the calendar on their website to verify hours before heading out.
Besides the play structures, we spotted board games a plenty, and there are definitely plenty of tables available to stop & have lunch or a snack. There is a restroom right outside The Ark, and there is also a small outdoor playground that is available to play on. You can also host a birthday party at The Ark, for a small fee.

With over 200,000 sf, there’s always something new to discover. Bass Pro has a number of museum quality stuffed animal displays (longhorn, bear, moose, etc.), along with a large aquarium tank with a small waterfall. Free.

Every Thursday morning the Community Activities Center gym will be opened for parents and their preschool children. The gym will be filled with all kinds of things to keep kids busy while having fun: bounce house, parachute, balls, toys, mats and more! The perfect spot for the next rainy day or your next playgroup! $1/child (parents free).

Paradise Pond is an indoor play place for children 2yrs. – 6th grade and includes 10 different stations where the children can play. We offer a grocery store, basketball toss, legos, trains, cars, magnets, dress-up, a small climbing wall, an oversized bounce house and a two-story play feature with slide.
Open Play Time: Thursday & Friday mornings 9:00-11:00 am ($1.00 charge per person babies – adults – no checks or credit cards)
There is a maximum capacity of 125 people at one time. (Babies – Adults) While this allows for a safer play area, it also means you should arrive early.

This massive indoor play area is designed for children up through 5th grade and is open to the community seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. No reservations are required. It is closed for cleaning the last Wednesday of the month from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Tubes is a warm and welcoming place for all parents and their children to enjoy.
