The Greater Lewisville Community Theatre proudly presents the delightfully entertaining holiday favorite, Nuncrackers, the Nunsense Christmas Musical, running December 2-18. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Due to the popularity of this show, an additional performance has been scheduled for Thursday, December 15 at 8 p.m.
Dan Goggin’s beloved sisters are at it again in this hilarious holiday offering from the Nunsense series. This time, Reverend Mother Regina is back with her own cable access channel and ready to put on a holiday ballet to support the Mount Saint Helens Convent. But when her star performer is injured, the Reverend Mother has to resort to some wacky hijinks to ensure that the show goes on!
Featuring original songs like Twelve Days Prior to Christmas, Santa Ain’t Comin’ To Our House, and We Three Kings of Orient Are Us, this show is filled with “Nunsense” humor, some of your favorite carols, a “Secret Santa,” and an uproarious take on Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet.
Director Sharon Veselic, who previously directed GLCT hits The Rocky Horror Show and Jekyll and Hyde, has assembled a cast of experienced actor/singers from across the Metroplex to make this holiday show a memorable and joy-filled occasion.
