Reading Log
- Kids read any eight (8) books of their choosing.
- Kids use the Passport to Summer Reading to document the places visited in each book. A parent/guardian signs the Passport when it’s complete.
- Kids bring their completed Passport to any B&N store between May 25 and September 7, 2010.
- They’ll get a coupon for a FREE BOOK, to be chosen from a list of exceptional paperback titles.*
*Eligible books will be listed on the coupon. Choices must be made from available stock. No special orders. Limit of one form per school-age child (grades 1-6).
Go two weeks, reading every day, then complete and redeem this certificate to get 10 FREE tokens. No more than one of any free token offer can be used per child, per day. Only at participating locations. Pizza purchase is required. Offer Expires 12/31/10

Kids ages 14 and under can earn a $3 Half Price Books shopping card for each week that they read at least 15 minutes per day.

Carrollton Public LibraryJune 4 – August 16
- pick up a reading log at either library
- one log per participant – just use plain paper if you lose your log
Turn in your completed log between June 18 – August 16 and receive:
- a Summer Reading Program certificate
- a free book
- a free ticket to the Ringling Brothers circus, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST (Children under two do not need a ticket to the circus)

Every week there will be a prize drawing from the previous week’s entries. The more book reviews you turn in that week, the more chances you’ll have to win!

Teens and Adults: Book Bingo - Pick up a Reading Log starting June 1 and read books in various categories to win prizes.
Preschool through Grade 8: Catch the Reading Express! Pick up a reading log starting June 10 and keep track of your reading time to win prizes. Rewards for every seven days that you read at least 20 minutes.

Grapevine Public LibraryJune 5 – August 18 (?), 2010
Catch the Reading Express! This year’s program will kick off on Saturday, June 5th with mini train rides in the library parking lot from 2-5 pm!We have a great series of programs lined up. Please remember that to attend children must be ages 5 and up, show a current Grapevine Public Library card, and be able to attend without an adult. Library staff will scan cards and supervise the group during the program. SRC programs are on Wednesdays at 2 pm; other programs without card and age restrictions will be listed on the children’s storytime and event page.
