Children in K-8th grade can get a taste of the performing arts at Drama Daze workshops, conducted by the award-winning Flower Mound High School Theatre Arts Department on Wednesday, August 15.
Two sessions are offered for this popular program, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00-5:00 p.m., with all activities held at the Jack and Donna Clark Auditorium at Flower Mound High School.
Registration for Drama Daze is now open. Cost for each camper is $40.00 and includes workshop activities, souvenir T-shirt and a snack. Registrations must be postmarked by August 4 to guarantee a Drama Daze T-shirt.
A downloadable registration form is posted online at www.fmhstheatre.com.
Campers are grouped by age and rotate between workshops that include makeup, technical and lighting, movement and dance, musical theatre and theatre games. The workshops will be led by FMHS Theatre students and members of the FMHS Theatre Department faculty. Each Drama Daze session concludes with a performance by the campers for their parents and families on the FMHS stage.
