Flower Mound Youth Football Association is a youth football and cheer program for children ages 3 to 12. The philosophy and goal of FMYFA is to give children the opportunity to learn and play organized flag/tackle football or cheer while building character to set them on the right path for life. Through FMYFA children will learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, persistence, sportsmanship…AND build friendships that go beyond the field.
Flower Mound Youth Football Association operates on the philosophy that the child is first and the sport is second.
We provide a family-friendly environment with a focus on the principle that winning is a secondary object, and that leadership and teamwork should at all times be the ultimate goal.
FMYFA strives to be the best youth football organization possible by keeping the interests of the children first and maintaining strong values which include sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, and commitment.
Our purpose is to teach the game of football to children of this community and to provide an environment that will promote safety and fundamentals over winning. Players are encouraged to become teammates, and to win and lose with dignity.
