Heart of Texas College Night in Grapevine

College NightHow can I best prepare my child for college? How do we select a college? What does a transcript look like? Can we afford college? What financial helps are available? What’s FAFSA and TAFSA? What’s the difference between the PSAT, SAT, and ACT? Should my child take CLEP tests? What about dual credit and does it all transfer? How can I find out about scholarships?

Get the answers to these and other important questions about college at the Heart of Texas Home School College Night – a special evening specifically designed for home school families (but everyone’s welcome).

Who should attend and why? Families with students entering high school, but particularly those who are in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.  It is best to begin your search early in the high school years, and begin to narrow down your selections as you get nearer to graduation.  Additionaly, there are several important deadlines that occur between the junior and senior year in high school, and you will want to be prepared ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Register on or before January 16: $8/person or $15/family
At the door: $10/person (max $25/family)
