LEGOLAND Discovery Center is having a LEGO Look-a-Like contest!
In order to participate in this contest you will need to recreate the “What it is is Beautiful” ad.
Be creative and imitate the 1981 LEGO ad to the best of your ability (text not required).
Then take a picture & post it on our LEGOLAND Discovery Center main Facebook wall.
This contest is open to ages 3-12. Ages will be divided into two groups:
3-7 & 8-12 — one winner per age group will be chosen. (Prizes outlined below)
PLEASE READ AND PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO ALL CONTEST DETAILS OUTLINED BELOW.
January 27 – February 2 (Photos will only be accepted during these dates)
Start recreating the LEGO “What it is is Beautiful” ad!
Once you have finished, take a picture and upload your photo.
How do I upload my photo?
On the LEGOLAND Discovery Center FACEBOOK HOME PAGE, you will find at the top of the page “Share:” See it? Good 
Now click on “photo”, it will give you an option to “upload a photo”, then you will upload your photo on the main home page–simple as that. Be sure to “post” in the comment box along with your picture: name, age and city of residence.
***Photos must be uploaded to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center facebook home page***
Your last chance to upload a contest photo will be February 2. Any photos uploaded after this date will not be accepted.
February 3- February 9
Voting is open!
We will announce on February 3 when voting is open. All photos will be moved to a photo album located under “Photos”.
No worries, we will be taking care of this part, all you have left to do is vote
The album will be named “LEGO Look-a-Like Contest”, go here to view and vote on your favorite picture.
Voting = “LIKE” your favorite LEGO Look-a-Like photo.
Votes will only be accepted on February 3rd through February 9.
Any votes made before or after this date will not count towards judging.
Votes will only count in the contest album. “LIKES” and comments for photos on main page are nice but will not help you win.
Winners are picked based strictly on how many “LIKES” their picture has. Comments are appreciated but do not count as a “vote”.
Voting is open to everyone, even if you didn’t participate. So tell your family and friends to come “LIKE” your picture!
February 10
Winners will be announced on Facebook.
Winners will receive a LEGOLAND Discovery Center Family 4 pack of day passes for February 11th and their very own LEGO Friends building set! Each winner must be available on February 11th to make a special appearance at LEGOLAND Discovery Center DFW during our LEGO Friends event weekend (exact times & dates will be provided). On this very special day, the LEGO Look-a-Like winners will be crowned our LEGOLAND Discovery Center princess!
