Open daily beginning April 27, 9 am to 8 pm
There is no charge or fee to use this facility. There are no restrooms at the park at this time but new restrooms will be installed by late June. After installation, designated areas will be available for reservation for private parties. Fees will be posted here soon.
Water Flow
To start the water flowing, push the button on top of the red fire hydrant water feature in the splash area. The water pressure builds slowly and the features come on gradually.
History and Features
The existing swimming pool was demolished to make way for the city’s first splashpark. This beautiful site features mature shade trees, wooden deck with picnic tables, plenty of parking, rolling green lawns and a playground nestled in a quiet neighborhood. New features include spray equipment and new shade structures. Located within easy walking distance from the popular W.J. Thomas and Josey Ranch sports fields, this is the perfect site for free water play and family picnics.
The Coppell Aquatic and Recreation Center has five pools for public use, three are outdoor pools that consist of a competition pool, slide and play pool and a children’s pool. The indoor pool, which consists of two pools includes a lap pool and a child’s play pool.
The outdoor pools are open Memorial Day through Labor Day, yearly and the indoor pools are open year round.
