POUR into pie shell.
BAKE in preheated 425° F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° F; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with whipped cream before serving
My favorite holiday activity is caroling!
A DIFFERENT Apple Crisp recipe….
3 ingredients:
Apples
Dry Yellow Cake Mix
1 stick of butter
peel & cut apples (enough to fill whatever pan you’re using, so there’s only about 1/4 inch of space on top)
put them in your baking dish and pour the dry cake mix on top. Even out the cake mix and pat down with a fork. Cut the stick of butter into pats. Place pats of butter all over the top of the cake mix (don’t put them too close to the edges or when they melt, they might spill over the edge of your pan). Cook on 350 for 30-45 minutes depending on the size of your dish. You’ll know it’s done when the butter has melted and the cake mix is starting to turn golden brown.
Planning on going to visit Santa at Grapevine!
My favorite holiday activity is decorating the house for Christmas.
If we weren’t going out of town this weekend, we would definitely check out the Chess Club at the Grapevine Library. My daughter loves chess!
Hashbrown Casserole:
This is a meat and potato lovers favorite!
1. Brown 1 lb ground meat and season it to your liking.
2. Spray casserole pan with cooking spray. Add seasoned meat to it.
3. In the pan you browned your meat in add cream of chicken soup and one can of milk. And stir until combined over low heat. The meat droppings from the meat will enhance the flavor of the soup/milk mixure.
4. Add a layer of frozen hashbrowns to the top of the meat.
5. Pour soup/milk mixture over the hashbrowns and allow to seep down to the bottom.
6. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
7. Can add cheese of your choice when you remove from oven.

Crunchy Cinnamony Snickerdoodles
Grab a basic sugar cookie dough premade from pillsbury. The squares are best.
1. Flatten into a circle. Any shape will do really. Immerse in a cinnamon sugar mixture. I use more cinnamon than sugar!
2. Bake in oven according to directions but at only half the time!
Note: Feel free to sprinkle with fun sprinkles!
Fun and delicious!
