Teen Volunteer Opportunities at Lewisville Library

Teen Volunteer Program

Looking for a place to volunteer? Consider the Lewisville Public Library! The Youth Services area has opportunities for teens ages 14-18 to give back to the community and volunteer! Whether for National

Honor Society or just to help out, the Library is a great environment for volunteering. Each teen must
attend an orientation session which is offered every other Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the library;
preregistration is required. For more information or to reserve a spot at the next orientation session,
please contact the Youth Services Desk of the Lewisville Public Library at 972.219.3577.

Orientation Session Dates:
Aug 7, 21
Sept 4, 18
Oct 2, 16, 30
Nov 13, 27
December 11

Live outside of Lewisville?  Check your local library.  They probably have a similar program.

    Hi I was considering volunteering at your library, but I was wondering what kind of tasks I would be doing?

    • Hi, Jessica – I imagine you’d be restocking the shelves, helping prepare little cutouts and crafts for storytime, etc., but you’d have to call the library to verify. Good luck!
