Weekly Programs
Weekly programs meet year-round, except during the month of August, and the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s Day. – Resumes January 7, 2013.
Mother Goose Time
- Mondays and Tuesdays at 11:15 am – 20 minutes
- Stories, music and movement for new parents with babies under 18 months. (No siblings please.)
- Registration is required; call 972.874.6167 after 9:00 am on program day.
Toddler Time
- Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am and 11:00am – 30 minutes.
- Stories, music, and rhyme for ages 18-36 months and a caregiver.
- Reservations required for groups of eight or more; call 972.874.6167.
Preschool Story Time
- Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. – 40 minutes.
- Stories, music, and rhyme for ages 3-6 years.
- Children may attend alone but caregiver must remain inside Library.

Checks and Mates
- Join fellow chess fans for an afternoon of chess games.
- Chess sets will be available, or you may bring your own set.

Family Storytime
- Third Wednesday of each month (except August) at 7 p.m. – 60 minutes.
- Stories, music, rhyme, crafts and snacks for families with young children.
- Registration is not required.
Rockin’ Readers
- Second Wednesday of each month, September-March at 4 p.m. – 50 minutes.
- Stories, activities and snacks for children in Grades K-3 only.
- Reservations required for groups of eight or more; call 972.874.6167.
Firecracker Book Club
- Second Tuesday of each month, September-April at 4 p.m. – 50 minutes.
- Discussion and related activities of children’s books for children in Grades 4-5 only.
- Books to be discussed each month for the current school year will be chosen at the first meeting.

Anime Daze
- First Wednesday of each month, September-May at 4:30 – 60 minutes.
- Art sharing, anime screenings, and snacks for children in middle school (grades 6-8) only.
- Registration is not required.
Otaku Kyokai No Flower Mound (The Anime Fan Society of Flower Mound)
- One Saturday each month. Visit our online calendar for current dates.
- High school teens run the meetings, co-sponsored by the Library.
- Anime screenings, discussion and snacks for high school students only.
- Registration is not required.
