Join Dallas Fly Fishers (DFF) for an introduction to fly fishing. Learn to cast, tie basic fishing knots, tie flys and discuss their uses, review equipment, learn about aquatic ecosystems, safety, fishing, ethics and regulations. This is a free class offered by DFF, including all equipment and materials.
DFF has been an active club for over 30 years. Instructors are certified by Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and Federation of Fly Fishers. Participants receive a TPWD Basic Fly Fishing Certificate. Participants must bring a hat, glasses and lunch.
