Studio B Performing Arts Center will hold open auditions for two summer productions on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Auditions are open to anyone (within age requirements) and those auditioning do not need prior theater experience or involvement with Studio B. For auditions, a headshot and resume is requested as well as the audition form available at www.studiobtheater.info.

Auditions for the play James & the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl will be open to those ages 6-19. Those auditioning should be prepared for a cold reading from the script.
Those entering grades 8 through early college can audition for the musical production of All Shook Up, which is inspired by music by Elvis Presley. Those auditioning should prepare 32 bars of a 50s style song (with accompaniment CD) and a short monologue. Dance auditions may be part of the audition as well so dress comfortably.

You do not need an appointment to audition and those old enough may audition for both shows that day. There is no tuition or performance fee to audition or participate in either show.
