Studio B Performing Arts Center believes that everyone can benefit from participating in performing arts. Since 1999, Studio B has provided the local community with not only great opportunities to see live theatrical productions, but also has provided students training in theater and musical theater. This award-winning, non-profit community theater in Highland Village is the only theater of its kind in Flower Mound/Highland Village area.
Theater and acting classes are a great outlet for students. Theater blends acting, music and dance and creates a unique interaction between performers and audience. Theater is storytelling brought to life. In addition, classes in the performing arts serve as a creative outlet and will teach confidence, self-esteem, self-awareness, cooperation and teamwork.
If you are interested in getting your child involved at Studio B, weekly classes begin the week of February 19. Studio B offers a wide range of classes for varying skill and age levels.
Classes include Homeschool Musical Theater, Script Writing, Stage Players (beginning musical theater), Triple Threat, Theater Dance and Center Stage Acting.
You can also call or email the office to schedule a visit to our facility that features a fully functioning theater with stage and professional lighting, dance room, music room and classrooms.
If you are interested in seeing a show, Studio B has several productions on the calendar.
The children’s production Dear Edwina Jr. runs weekends February 8-17 and the full Broadway production Oliver! runs weekends April 12-21.
