Flower Mound Fire Department Youth Academy
The Flower Mound Fire Department is proud to announce an upcoming fire academy, designed for youth who will be entering the seventh or eighth grade.
The academy will introduce students to the world of fire protection and emergency medical services, the history of fire service and the Flower Mound Fire Department, fire cause and origin and basic fire science.
Participants will also learn about protective equipment and clothing and the use of fire extinguishers and hose streams through “hands-on” instruction.
Registration for the youth academy must be completed in-person at the Central Fire Station. The class is limited to 15 participants.
