Kids Kastle (Unity Park)
Just north of 407 on Briarhill, Highland Village
Kids Kastle is an extensive wooden playscape that was constructed
by volunteers. It includes lots of “secret” stairways and cubbies,
along with bridges, climbing nets, a zip line, swings, and much more!
The wooden play area only has one entrance, which makes it easy to let
your kids explore.
A conventional play area is also located just outside the wooden
playscape. The complex also includes a pond with ducks, fish, and
turtles, a covered picnic pavilion with tables and barbecue grills, a
fitness exercise system, and a sand volleyball court. There are
restrooms and drinking fountains located across an open field.
The pavilion is available on a first-come/first-serve basis but
can also be reserved through the Parks and Recreation office. The
pavilion is a great place to hold a birthday party.
