    Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch sits on 126 breathtaking acres near Lake Ray Roberts in Denton County. It is a work in progress. At any one time it houses roughly 100 animals, many of which are rescue/foster animals.

    Ticket Prices:
    $10 Adults (13 yrs+)
    $8 Children (3-12yrs)
    $8 Seniors (65 yrs+)
    Children 2 & under are Free
     
    Your Ticket Includes:
    • Meet & Greet: with Education Animals (kangaroos, camels, lemurs & more). Animals available for meet and greet vary with the season and off site events schedule.
    • Safari Tram through exotic pastures to see camels, zebra, deer & more.
    • Kids Bucket Train Rides: This is just for kids & will run all day.
    • Use of picnic tables for lunch: You may purchase bottled water & soda from the temporary gift shop. Food is not currently offered.
    25% of the tour is self-guided thru and around our small animal habitats and there are informational signs that help you along the way.
     
    Education animals will rotate in and around our main pavilion all day & make up another 25% of your visit to Sharkarosa. These will be interactive animals accompanied by ranch staff that you are free to interact with and ask questions about.
     
    The remaining 50% is on a seated Safari Tram which takes you into the habitats of our large animals: camels, zebra, deer from around the world, etc. Some of these animals you are welcome to pet and others are just for viewing.
     
    On average the Safari Tram runs once and hour and is a 30 minute ride. The last Safari Tram leaves at 3:00pm. This means that all interaction with education animals and self-guided sections of the tour will close at 3:30. If you're coming at the end of the day, please arrive by 2:30 to ensure you get everything in before the last tram leaves @ 3:00.
