Art in the Park for Teens

TEENS (ages 13-17):

Please download the Summer Reading Club Form HERE and bring into Lake Cities Library to register. Begin reading or listening to books from June 14th—July 26th. Every 10 hours you read you will receive a small gift bag and the teens
with the most hours read this summer will be given larger prizes at the annual Summer Reading Club End Party on July 26th. So the more you read the better your chances are of winning the Grand Prize, an iPod! All time logs must be turned in by July 19th to be considered for the top reader prizes. Extra copies of the reading time logs are available at the library.

Teen Crafts: Every Tuesday from June 26th-July 24th @ 1pm

Some crafts will include: Tie dye, button bracelets, and Duck Tape art.

Drum Circle June 29th @ 6:30

Mark Shelton rolls in with over two dozen percussion instruments and a HANDS ON workshop that combines energy, entertainment, and education AND stimulates creativity. Mark brings his special brand of teaching and leadership to every drum circle session. Mark will furnish enough instruments for up to thirty participants so sign up at the front desk.
