This unique festival, designed to showcase the history and spirit of the west, invites attendees to find the cowboy in them through themed events, attractions, food, shopping and entertainment. Lewisville Western Days festival is a 2-day event featuring great music, good food, and activities for the whole family. Held each year in Old Town Lewisville, the event features five stages of entertainment, tamale eating contest, and more for the 20,000-30,000 event-goers.

Admission to the festival is FREE prior to 5 p.m. both days. No ticket required before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., admission is $15 for everyone except children 12 and younger, who are always free. Ticket information.
Festival Schedule and Attractions
There is no Cattle Drive Parade during Western Days. The Cattle Drive Parade takes place on Sept. 16 prior to the PBR Lewisville bull-riding event.
Activities Spotlight
The Western Days festival is kid-friendly. There is a combination of free activities and paid attractions. A Kid Kountry wristband will be sold for $15 that can be used for both Friday and Saturday. Starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, the wristband price will be $10 for the remainder of the event. Wristbands will be available for purchase using the RFID wireless payment system.
