The Western Days Festival is designed to showcase Lewisville’s rich history, and includes live music, arts and crafts vendors, gunfight re-enactments, trick ropers, car show, KidZone, Tailwaggers Ranch pet zone, Stickhorse Rodeo for kids, and the annual World Tamale Eating Championship. The 2013 Western Days festival continues to take shape and all signs point to it being one of the biggest celebrations in the event’s 40-plus year history. Western Days takes place Sept. 27 and 28 in historic downtown Lewisville.

The event will feature Texas country giants Randy Rogers Band and Casey Donahew Band in concert on Friday and Saturday night respectively on the Bud Light Stage. It will also feature entertainment on the First Choice Power Stage and on the Performance Hall Stage of the MCL Grand Theater.
