Recently, the Hilton Anatole invited my family and I to spend the weekend at their Dallas property. Below you’ll find details about our visit. All opinions are my own.
The Perfect Dallas Staycation
Sometimes, as much as we’d like to hit the road or take a flight to one of the many vacation hot-spots, time and budget simply don’t allow that to happen. Between busy work schedules and kids who always have something happening, it can be hard to get away for any length of time.
For us, a staycation is the best answer! Just the simple process of leaving the house and staying a couple of nights in Dallas allows us to really reconnect with each other away from the demands and distractions of home. Once we check in, we can just relax and really spend quality time together:)
For us, the Hilton Anatole provides the perfect Dallas staycation! It’s only 30 minutes from home, but it feels like you’ve left the city and are at a luxury resort.
And rates start at just $139 per night!*
*Rate does not include taxes, gratuities or incidental charges.
The rooms are spacious and well-appointed.
And unlike traditional hotels, the Hilton Anatole offers LOTS of fun activities for kids (much like a resort). Choose from bingo, lawn games, crafts, and movie night, plus much more.
They even have games in the pool!
Speaking of the pool… Jade Waters is pure AWESOMENESS!!
Be sure to check out the cabanas and daybeds that can be rented for the day.
And the food!!! They literally offer something for everyone… grab and go options at Counter Offer, casual dining at Media Grill, fine dining at SER, room service, and of course, poolside drinks and eats! Everything we had was amazing:)
Vacationing (or staycationing) with kids as they get older can be challenging. No parent want’s to hear those dreaded words, “I’m bored.” or “I just want to go home.” We’ve visited the Hilton Anatole a number of times over the last few years and every time the girls have REALLY enjoyed themselves and each time they look forward to our next visit.
The Hilton Anatole is also in a prime location, right next door to Medieval Times, and close to Klyde Warren Park, the Perot Museum, the West End, Uptown, and more. It’s easy to get out and explore, and there are so many fun things to do and see!
What staycation with daughters would be complete without a little pampering? V-Spa is located on the Hilton Anatole property, so it’s easy to pop in for a little mani-pedi!
One of the things I really enjoy about Hilton Anatole is all of the quiet and unique areas around the property. Don’t forget to bring a book or game, find a quite spot, and just relax:)
A tip for visiting Jade Waters, the resort-style pool on preoperty: Consider the first hour or two of the day, and the last hour or two of the day. Both are less crowded AND in my opinion, they’re the most beautiful part of the day:)
