Youth Fishing Event in Carrollton

Cast for Catfish

Carrollton’s Parks and Recreation and the Texas Junior Anglers (TJA) program will host a free youth fishing event for children 16 and under. Registration will take place the morning of the event; there is no pre-registration. The Josey Ranch Park pond will be generously stocked with adult catfish. Fishing for kids

Come cast your line at our fishin’ hole! Join the City of Southlake and Texas Junior Anglers for an afternoon of fishing. The pond is stocked with adult sized channel catfish for an opportunity to catch the “Big” one. Kids will be divided into age groups. All participants will receive a bag of goodies, with trophies being awarded for the two largest fish caught in each age group.
