ANIMAL ADVENTURES
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 10AM – 12PM
Presented by the Dallas Zoo, home to over 400 species and more than 2,000 animals, this interactive program features animals from around the world. Family-oriented and designed to both entertain and educate, this program features six to eight animals including a variety of birds, mammals, and reptiles! Admission is free.
NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY USING YOUR CELL PHONE
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20, 10AM – 12PM
Have a cell phone? North Texas Master Naturalist and photographer Stalin SM will discuss photography techniques utilizing cell phones and then lead a 1-hour tour through the Nature Park pointing out creative photo opportunities. Admission is free.
RAPTORS OF NORTH TEXAS
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 10AM – 12PM
Erich Neupert, Executive Director of the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center, will return to the Biodiversity Education Center to discuss and demonstrate the characteristics and exceptional hunting abilities of their amazing birds. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind presentation. Admission is free.
