We may not be able to welcome you to the Zoo and Aquarium right now, but we are using our social media channels to #BringTheZooToYou.

Fort Worth Zoo

Follow the Fort Worth Zoo on Facebook where they’re posting fun videos with the animals! Be sure to check out the April 6th video to see a rhino romping and playing like a puppy!

The Birmingham Zoo’s Virtual Zoo is a great source of fun and engaging material for students of all ages. Each video will allow you to join us as we take you behind the scenes to learn some amazing things about the animals and staff at the Birmingham Zoo! Videos are accompanied by fun activities, vocabulary and curriculum standards for relevant grade levels.
Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo
Tune in for Bringing The Zoo To You live chats every weekday at 11:00 a.m. Central on our Facebook page and every Tuesday & Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Central on our Instagram profile. You’ll get to enjoy a live chat with our animal care staff and meet some of our animals. We’re going to be bringing you some of the coolest and most interesting animals around while also providing informative sessions that engage and educate.
Denver Zoo
Denver Zoo may be closed, but our animal care staff is still providing vital care for our nearly 3,000 animal residents. And we’re here to keep you informed, entertained and engaged with daily videos, wildlife-themed activity ideas and much more!
Houston Zoo
Each weekday, we’re hosting an 11:00 a.m. CST Facebook Live to bring the Zoo to YOU! We will be sharing daily updates of what our furred, flippered, and feathered friends are up to and how our zookeepers are caring for them while we are closed. Follow along and check out the fun at-home-learning activities below!
Los Angeles Zoo
During our closure, we’ll continue to share cool views of the zoo, our animal residents, and our dedicated keepers to keep you informed, engaged, and connected.

Oregon Zoo
Go behind the scenes to meet animals and connect with our animal care staff. Tune in for new videos every week on our Facebook page or watch on YouTube. After each live video, come here for at-home ideas to learn more about these animals and how to help them. The activities, developed by our award-winning education team, are aimed at children ages K–5 (but we invite animal lovers of all ages to join in the fun!)
Pittsburgh Zoo
