The City of Lewisville and Cox Event Productions are proud to bring the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) to Lewisville. Tickets for PBR Lewisville, presented by Zimmerer Kubota, are now on sale.This event will feature athletes from the Touring Pro Division of the PBR. It’s a mix of established rodeo veterans and newcomers to the professional ranks. The Touring Pro Division gives riders the opportunity to compete in PBR-sanctioned events while earning money to qualify for the Built Ford Tough Series.
There will be a special cattle drive parade down Main Street to usher in the event.

To usher in the new PBR Lewisville event, the Huffines Auto Dealerships Cattle Drive Parade is moving away from Western Days with a revised route. The parade will travel from Cowan Avenue east on Main Street to Mill Street, then turn north on Mill Street and continues to the grounds at Bill Weaver Arena (formerly Lewisville Rodeo Arena.)
At the conclusion of the parade, families can enjoy activities at the rodeo grounds including a petting zoo, pony rides, antique trailer display, food trucks, and live music by Jessica McVey Band and Gunpowder and Lead: Miranda Lambert Tribute. The attractions end at 6 p.m. and the Lewisville PBR event starts at 7:30 p.m.
2 p.m. – Huffines Auto Dealerships Cattle Drive Parade
3 p.m. – Family-friendly attractions including petting zoo, pony rides, Antique Tractor Display, food trucks and live music
3 p.m. – Jessica McVey Band
4:30 p.m. – Gunpowder and Lead – Miranda Lambert Tribute Band
6 p.m. – Activities and entertainment ends
7:30 p.m. – BPR Lewisville
The standard one-day Touring Pro Division format is 35 contestants, who each ride one bull. The Top 12 riders advance to the championship round to compete with one more bull. The overall event winner is the rider with the highest combined score on two bulls. More than 100 Touring Pro Division events are sanctioned annually by the PBR, awarding close to $3 million in prize money.
This event will benefit the veteran’s charity Boot Campaign, which unites Americans to honor and restore the lives of veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving programs.
