The 2024 Kiwanis Butterfly Festival will be held beneath the pavilion in the Southlake Town Square September 21st and 22nd. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a 600 square foot landscaped mesh tent populated with hundreds of Texas butterflies. Watermelon is provided to allow children of all ages the opportunity to feed and interact with the butterflies. At the conclusion of the event on Sunday the 22nd at 5pm the butterflies will be individually released by the children from the pavilion. This event will raise funds for local children’s charities, including the Cook Children’s.
