Celebrate Highland Village

Saturday, June 8, 2024 – Evening Events Cancelled

Celebrate Highland Village, scheduled for Saturday, June 8 at Copperas Branch Park, is cancelled due to rising flood water. Lewisville Lake’s level is high from the recent rain events and the water continues to rise. The City Parks and Recreation Department and Fire Department worked with the fireworks vendor to move the fireworks to other areas within the park. Unfortunately, each location has ended up underwater due to the rising lake levels. The water is also going over the entrance to the park. Additionally, the grand lawn area is saturated with water, making it unenjoyable for attendees to watch the concert, and enjoy the kid zone and food vendors. We have made every effort to proceed with this event, however we will not compromise on safety, the quality of the event and the attendee experience. 

We plan to offer this event later this year, please keep a lookout for the new date.

Parking on site is limited and requires a parking pass. Shuttle service is available from remote parking locations.
