Early Childhood Programs at Prince of Peace:
Mornings with Mommy and Power Hour
Looking for ways to fill up your new 2018 calendar? Something the kids will enjoy without too big of a commitment for your schedule and wallet? Take a minute to explore the early childhood programs of Prince of Peace! Our programs are uniquely designed to be the perfect fit for young families.
Mornings with Mommy is a one-of-a-kind blend of story time, playdate, and learning center that combine to meet the developmental needs and short attention spans of very young children (ages 0-5). After a short story and song time, sessions break into Mommy-led learning activities in our six learning centers (gross motor, fine motor, sensory play, art center, mural, and infant center.) Sessions end with a snack that you can take to-go or stay and enjoy with all your new friends!
Power Hour is a preschool program for children ages 2-5 AND their caregivers. We believe that parents are their children’s first and most loved teachers. At Power Hour parents are involved in their child’s earliest structured learning activities and are equipped to bring the love of learning home! The Power Hour curriculum has a strong academic core, focusing on mathematics, literacy, fine motor development, science, and social studies. These learning concepts are experienced through music, crafts, and play. Power Hour is also a Bible based program. Our goal is for every child to know how special they are to their Savior, Jesus. This truth saturates the learning environment, making it welcoming, safe and filled with love.
BOTH programs offer creative, high-quality fun that is brain building for your child and connection building in your family relationships.
