- ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) margarine
- 3 cups sugar
- 2/3-cup evaporated milk (small can)
- 1 pkg (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips or 12 oz. Peanut Butter
- 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow crème
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
Directions:
- Lightly grease 13 x 9 pan
- Mix margarine, sugar and milk in heavy 2-½ quart saucepan
- Bring to full rolling boil
- Reduce heat to med-high; continue boiling for 5 minutes
- Stir constantly to prevent scorching
- Remove from heat
- Add remaining ingredients (quickly); mix well
- Pour into pan
- Let cool at room temperature (approximately 2 hours)
