Are your kids dreaming of the stage? Here’s their chance! Auditions for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat are coming to Lewisville, and every child and adult aged 7 and up who auditions is guaranteed a role. This family-friendly production is a wonderful opportunity for budding performers to shine.
Audition Details
- When: Saturday, January 4, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. (by appointment only)
- Where: The ACT Theatre, 359 Lake Park Rd, Suite 118, Lewisville, TX

What to Prepare
- Songs: Two contrasting 1-minute songs in the style of the show. Bring electronic accompaniment for best results.
- Application: Download and complete the Audition Application. Applications can also be filled out onsite.
- Conflicts: Be ready to list any conflicts on the application.
Important Dates and Requirements
- Callbacks: Tuesday, January 7, from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
- Mandatory Parent Meeting: Thursday, January 9, during the script read-through.
- Fees: $95 participation fee ($85 for 7-Event Subscribers).
- Volunteer Hours: Families are required to contribute 20 hours of volunteer service and assist during performances.
Additional Information
- Scripts will only be distributed after all checklist items are completed, including payment and attendance at the parent meeting.
- Rehearsals begin after casting, with tech week and performances requiring full attendance.
