Tilly, the BEC shell-ebrity, is a species of box turtle that calls North Texas home. Learn interesting facts about box turtles, local conservation efforts, and even meet a few shelled friends! Registration is required for each participant. Ages 11+.

Take a deep dive into North Texas Ecotone and its natural wonders with local author, Amy Martin. Amy will discuss her newest book, Wild DFW, and host an author signing after the presentation. Registration is required for each participant. Ages 11+.
Wolves of the Sky
Saturday 8/10 Sa 10a – 12p
Explore the world above your eyes and learn about the wolves of the skies! Brooke Poplin, a PhD student at UNT, will discuss her research on Harris’s hawks, a raptor bird found in the Rio Grande Valley. Registration is required for each participant. Ages 11+.
