Headlining Acts
We are excited to announce our headliners for this year’s festival:
- Saturday’s headliner, Sugaray Rayford, is a Grammy-nominated soul blues singer and songwriter renowned for his electrifying performances and powerful voice. With six albums to his name, Rayford has earned prestigious accolades including the Blues Music Awards for “Soul Blues Artist of the Year” in both 2019 and 2020, and the “B.B. King Entertainer of the Year” award in 2020. His recent album, Human Decency, set to release on June 14th, 2024, continues to showcase his unique blend of classic soul, funky R&B, and raw blues power. Rayford’s dynamic sound and compelling storytelling make his live shows an unforgettable experience.
- Sunday’s headliner, D.K. Harrell, “Louisiana’s New Bluesman,” has risen swiftly in the blues scene. His debut album, The Right Man, was a critical hit and the second most-played blues album in 2023. Named Best Emerging Artist at the 2024 Blues Music Awards, Harrell will tour major U.S. festivals and Europe this year. A self-taught guitarist from Ruston, Louisiana, Harrell’s deep admiration for B.B. King influences his soulful style. With support from blues veterans, his dynamic performances have earned acclaim from icons like Charlie Musselwhite and Susan Tedeschi.
