An event every month that begins at 10:00 AM on day First of the month, happening 12 times

Each month, this program presents a different theme that highlights the heritage skills that you could use to enrich your life today. Registration is required and space is limited.

First Friday each month

10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
$5 per person (3 years and older)

01/06 Chicken Noodle Soup: Make Old-fashioned Chicken noodle soup in the Farmhouse Kitchen.
02/03 Corn, Wheat, and Peas: Learn about the many different uses of these staple crops.
03/03 Spring on the Farm:  Prepare the farm for spring, animal and garden care.
04/07 Easter Party:  Join the Nash Farmhands as we explore Easter traditions.
05/05 Tools of the trade: Explore different tools from the 19th century and how to use them.
06/02 Music Makers: Learn about different kinds of music and the instruments you might have heard on the Grapevine Prairie.
07/07 Secrets of the Museum: Discover some of our favorite artifacts and how we care for them.
08/04 “Meme’s Pickles”   Make “Meme’s Pickles” with the last of the summer harvest.
09/01 Waste Not, Want Not: Learn how to use things that are usually thrown away.
10/06 Cowboy Cooking: Cowhands stop at the Farm to cook up grub.
11/03 Sheep to Shawl:  Learn how Fleece is processed into marketable goods.
12/01 Prairie Christmas: Decorate the Farmhouse while enjoying cookies and cider.
