With the rise is COVID-19 sweeping our nation the issue of keeping our kids on their normal routine has come to light. With bans being placed on public meeting grounds (parks, community centers, non essential businesses) and schools being closed until further notice, we fear that our young athletes won’t have the necessary resources to stay on their “A game” until all this passes.
Mondays & Fridays 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM CDT
Through September 14, 2020
Sweat F.C has proposed as virtual training session streamed through Facebook Live where just as teachers are uploading all curriculum and lesson plans for students, out coaches would virtually instruct and ask that all team members and trainees tune in so that our progression of skills are not haunted by this unfortunate epidemic.
All virtual sessions would be appropriate for indoors and even use household products such as toilet paper rolls and socks rather than a soccer ball or tennis ball to ensure safety. We find this sort of set up will engage our players a revolutionary way and showcase the importance of self training and discipline.
Donations are appreciated (Recommended: $30-$60 for the semester). Each child will be sent their very own soccer ball.
