FCN Guided Hike – Looking for Greenery
In this guided hike we look for trees and shrubs that are evergreen. We will discuss why most trees, shrubs, and grasses in North Texas change color and drop their leaves during the fall, and the adaptations that allow those still-green plants to stay green.
Meet at the Biodiversity Education Center office.
The hike is limited to 20 participants, so arrive early to claim your spot. Please bring a hat and water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
