Homestead Open House at LLELA
Step back in time when you visit the historic Minor-Porter log house. Visitors of all ages are welcome to arrive at any time during the open house. You’ll get a feel for pioneer life as you tour the log home, smoke house, dugout, and homestead grounds. Knowledgeable docents will add to your experience with period costume and stories about the experiences of pioneers.
*Entry to LLELA Nature Preserve is $5 per vehicle, cash or check only. Season passes are available.
Come prepared: the log house is located about 0.25 mile from the Cicada Pavilion parking lot, along the Cottonwood Trail. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water.
