The Friend’s Of LLELA is hosting a Kid’s Bioblitz and invites kids of all ages to participate in this fun day of insect exploration! Please grab your parents or other responsible adults and spend a couple of hours learning about those creepy, crawly things that fascinate all kids and kids-at-heart.
Texas Master Naturalists will help with identification as everyone hikes through LLELA armed with nets and protected by insect repellent. Learn how these insects are a part of just about everything in the natural world.
Discover how nature’s FBI (Fungi, Bacteria, and Insects) breaks down plant and animal material to recycle it into the soil.
