Programs are intended for ages 5-12. Events will take places at 2pm at the community center (312 S Walnut St., Roanoke, TX 76262) unless otherwise noted.
6/05 Mad Science: We’ll have everyone oohing and aahing as we enjoy this interactive science demonstration. Ages 5-12
6/12 Brett Roberts Colors of Kindness Magic Show: This colorful magic show teaches us to appreciate our differences and be kind and allows everyone to participate. Ages 5-12
6/19 Mark Shelton Strike, Scrape, and Shake Drum Show: In this high energy program, kids will learn about instruments in the percussion family and enjoy a world class performance. Ages 5-12
6/26 Dallas Zoo Animal Adventures **1:00 PM**: Back by popular demand, The Dallas Zoo will bring 6-7 live ambassador animals, including a variety of birds, mammals, and reptiles. Ages 5-12
7/10 Dino Bo’s “Carnivores vs. Herbivores”: We’ll learn how carnivores hunted and how herbivores kept from becoming a meal, with audience participation and a chance to examine some real dinosaur fossils!
7/19 Perot Tech Truck (WEDNESDAY/Library Meeting Room) The Perot Museum TECH Truck provides a mobile makerspace to inspire minds of all ages to bring out their inner scientist.
7/24 Ramblin’ Rita’s “Texas Tales” An interactive story teller will tell tall tales about the wild west and share some silly
songs too!
7/31 Harry Potter Birthday Party (Meeting Room) July 31st is Harry Potter’s birthday. To celebrate, we’ll have games, crafts, and snacks inspired by our favorite boy wizard!
