Sensory Explorations: Food at Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth

April 12 @ 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Prepare a feast for your eyes as we find food in art! Explore depictions of types of food through sensory tools, swap recipes with other families, make a (paper) pizza to take home with you, and enjoy an interactive performance.

Sensory Explorations is a free event for families with children of all ages who are on the autism spectrum. Families can connect with artworks in the galleries, enjoy an interactive performance, go on tours, and get creative during a hands-on, art-making experience! While the needs of individuals with autism are the focus of this event, it is also intended to be fun for parents, siblings (of all ages), and other relatives!

Check back soon for the schedule.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request. Please send us an email for more information.
