Spring Into Nash Farm

Experience 19th-century skills and trades at Nash Farm’s Spring agricultural festival.

Spring is calling! Travel back in time with your family at Historic Nash Farm for Spring Into Nash. See how Grapevine’s earliest settlers lived on the wild frontier with several live demonstrations and hands-on activities. This is a free event, but concessions will be available for purchase.

Live Demos:

  • Butter making
  • House tours
  • Cooking on the 1892 wood stove
  • Gardening
  • Chuckwagon cooking
  • Sheep Shearing
  • Fleece processing
  • washing
  • spinning and weaving
  • carpentry,
  • beekeeping
  • Southwest Dairy will be on site with their mobile milking parlor

Hands-on activities:

  • Tractor Rides
  • Laundry
  • Yarn Dolls
  • Planting
  • Grinding coffee
  • Felting
  • Baseball
  • Indoor games: Cup and ball, Jacobs Ladder, Yo-yos and Tops
  • Outdoor games: Hoop and stick, Stilts, Jump ropes, Stick horses, Grain tables

Cost: FREE Admission.  Certain activities require coupons that can be purchased on-site. Concessions will also be available for purchase.


Please park at Cannon Elementary School (1300 W. College St.) and ride the complimentary Grapevine Visitors Shuttle. Parking in the neighborhoods is restricted.
