Celebrate summer with events for the whole family at Gaylord Texan! Enjoy the thrilling slides, winding lazy river, and towering play structures at Paradise Springs that make the water park the perfect summer hangout. Inside the resort you can enjoy pirate and princess-themed activities and other fun seasonal events as you make this Summerfest one to remember.
Journey through the resort’s indoor gardens to search for clues and solve puzzles to complete the scavenger hunt.

Wildlife Rescue – An Augmented Reality Experience presented by bubly™
Take a virtual safari through Gaylord Texan! Twelve endangered animals are hidden throughout the resort and your help is needed to find them. Search for the tracking markers to find the hidden animals, learn facts about them, and see them come to life before your very eyes with the magic of augmented reality (AR)! This cool tech experience is fun for kids of all ages and affords photo opportunities with AR animals throughout the resort. A smart phone and free app download are necessary to enjoy this AR experience.

Ahoy Matey Animal Encounters
Enjoy up-close encounters with a variety of incredible creatures! During this special educational opportunity, you’ll look at and learn about these animals and their unique personalities.

School’s out for summer break! Your teacher collected your smartphone and hid it after you were caught playing games during class and forgot to return it to you. Race against the clock to find your phone before the janitor finishes locking up the school or risk being without your phone for the entire vacation!
Look to the night sky as a kaleidoscope of bright lights fill the atrium in this colorful, animated light show. It’s the perfect finale to an exciting day of fun at Gaylord Texan.
