Teen Movie Mondays
Mondays in June & July from 3 – 5p Free
Snack on popcorn and watch a movie in the Teen Room! Visit coppelltx.gov/library for movie title, rating, and run time.

Teen Trivia
Select Tuesdays from 1-2pm
6/4, 7/2, 7/30
Test your knowledge about anything and everything with friends in the Teen Room! Form a team, join in the friendly competition, and win prizes! Whether you bring your friends or just yourself, you’re sure to have a great time. Teams should be made up of 3 to 5 members.

Hunger Games Party
W 6/5 from 2 – 3:30p
Does the “Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” have you thinking about the Hunger Games? What district do you think you’d be in? Do you think you’d have the skills to survive? Join your fellow tributes and have fun while testing your knowledge and getting creative. You will not need to fight for your life to leave the program a victor.

Teen Keychain Craft
Tu 6/11 from 1 – 2p
Let’s make plastic lace keychains! Come make fun designs and calm your brain while braiding.

Teen Traveling Sketchbook
Th 6/13 from 1 – 2:30p
Help us finish our Cozby Library Traveling Sketch Book! Teens will be tasked with completing at least one piece of two-dimensional artwork before the program is over, or, bringing in a completed piece of two-dimensional work. The art will be gathered and printed into a book for the library’s collection.

Teen Manga Party
Tu 6/16 from 1 – 2p
It’s finally time to celebrate manga! Craft, answer trivia questions, and hang with fellow manga lovers.

Teen CPR Class
Th 6/20 from 1 – 2:30p
Cozby Library is excited to partner with Life Safety Park to present a Teen CPR class at the library. Registration is not required, but there will be a maximum of 30 people allowed into the class. A Teen Program Pass is required and available at the front desk 30 minutes before the start of the program.

Teen Bridge Building Contest
W 6/26 from 5 – 7p
Test out your STEM skills by competing in a bridge building competition. Sign up same day in teams of two with someone you know, or meet new friends and be assigned a team. Competition details will be provided once the program begins. Snacks for all and prizes for the top teams! Teens will compete based on grade range to allow for greater equity.

Teen Situational Awareness (6th – 8th Grade)
Th 6/27 from 1 – 2p
Having situational awareness has grown in importance and will continue to do so. Join the Coppell Police Department for a presentation on situational awareness. Parents/caregivers are invited to attend with their child.

Teen Cookie Decorating
W 7/3 from 1 – 2p
Step One: Get the cookie. Step Two: Decorate the cookie. Step Three: Eat the cookie. Are you as excited as we are? Please keep in mind that cross contamination with gluten may occur even with gluten-free options. A Teen Program Pass is required and available 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.

Teen Tote Bag Decorating
Tu 7/9 from 1 – 2p
Get creative by decorating a reusable tote bag! All materials will be provided. A Teen Program Pass is required and available on a first come, first served basis 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.

Teen Minute to Win It
W 7/10 from 1 – 2:30p
With only a minute on the clock, compete against peers to complete a variety of challenges. There will be five rounds of challenges, and each member of the winning team will win a prize.

Teen Eragon Book Party
Tu 7/16 from 1 – 2p
The Inheritance Cycle book series (starting with Eragon) is an international phenomenon. Join fellow Christopher Paolini fans and enjoy crafts, trivia, and more featuring everyone’s favorite dragons and dragon riders!

Teen Magic Class with James Wand
W 7/17 from 1 – 2:30p
Prepare to be amazed by the most incredible magic you will ever see! Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to join James Wand on an exciting and hilarious adventure of magic and mystery. Help solve clues and secret codes, and even learn some behind-the-scenes secrets! A Teen Program Pass is required and available on a first come, first served basis 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. This event is limited to 30 people.

Teen Magnetic Slime
W 7/24 from 1 – 2p
It’s MAGNETIC! Let’s create magnetic slime together. A Teen Program Pass is required and available on a first come, first served basis 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.

Teen Tie-Dye
W 7/31 from 1 – 2:30p
Let’s tie-dye together using permanent markers and rubbing alcohol! A Teen Program Pass is required and available on a first come, first served basis 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.

Teen Back to School Bash
W 8/7 from 6 – 7p
Celebrate the start of a new school year with old friends and new! Enjoy games, crafts, and more in the Teen Room.
