
Keep Lewisville Beautiful is partnering with the City of Lewisville to host our 35th annual city-wide waterway cleanup on Saturday November 4, 2023, 8 a.m.-noon. Volunteers are needed to help clean local parks, greenbelts, and shoreline areas of the Trinity River and Lewisville Lake. Come help make a difference in our local environment, make new friends, and help clean and green our community.
This event is open to all ages and is family friendly. Participants can register as individuals or part of a group. We can accommodate large groups, but please register in advance! Almost all areas are land based shoreline and creek bed pick up. If you have a kayak and want to clean on the water, please call the office at 972-538-5949 to register.
Volunteers are needed to cleanup community spaces and help onsite with event tasks at Lake Park, 600 Sandy Beach Rd. Registration is required to volunteer, and is open for groups and individuals to sign up now through Monday, October 30. All ages are welcome, and registration is open.

This free community event will be held in conjunction with Keep America Beautiful and Keep Texas Beautiful Fall Sweep activities. Cleanup activities will run 8-11:30 a.m. and a free environmental expo with fun activities, seed ball making, and environmental crafts will run 10 a.m.-noon Volunteers will receive a free snack lunch and volunteer shirt for participating, first come first served. Volunteers will have the chance to compete for most trash collected, most unusual item, and have the chance to win door prizes donated by community partners.
Keep Lewisville Beautiful will provide cleanup supplies for volunteers, but feel free to bring your own. Volunteers will be assigned to one of sixty locations around town to clean, and bring trash back to our event dumpsters. Last year, 313 volunteers showed community spirit by working hard by helping to remove more than 3.5 tons of trash from Lewisville streets, parks, and creeks.
