Not Your Average Art Festival
ColorPalooza stands apart from traditional fine arts festivals. Instead of just browsing artwork, attendees—especially kids—are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and dive into hands-on, interactive experiences. Art is meant to be messy, fun, and engaging, and that’s exactly what this festival delivers.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy a lineup of live music and cultural performances. One of the festival highlights is the closing set from The Grays, performing family favorites and Disney hits from 4 to 5 p.m.

ColorPalooza offers a wide variety of art-centered activities for kids and families:
- DIY Tie-Dye with Kris Tee’s – $5 includes a t-shirt and all materials
- Paint Your Own Cookies – $6 for a sweet and creative experience

Parking and Accessibility
Free parking is available throughout Old Town Lewisville, including ADA-accessible spaces. Visitors are encouraged to use Waze for the most up-to-date directions and to navigate around street closures.
Closer to the event date, Visit Lewisville will offer a downloadable map and access to an event app that highlights key areas such as vendor booths, stages, restrooms, and more.
Family-Friendly Facilities and Features
ColorPalooza is thoughtfully designed for families with young children:
- Stroller-friendly layout throughout the streets and public spaces
- Public restrooms and diaper-changing stations located inside the Lewisville Grand Theater
- Portable restrooms stationed throughout the festival
- Lost & Found and Family Meeting Spot located at the purple inflatable Info Tent
- On-site safety support provided by the Lewisville Police Department, located directly across from the Info Tent
Weather Information
ColorPalooza is a rain-or-shine event. In the case of severe weather, many activities may be relocated indoors to the Lewisville Grand Theater. Any changes to the event schedule due to weather will be announced no later than Friday, April 25 at noon on the event website.
