Family Fall Festival to Benefit the Trotter Family
A family fall festival and silent auction is being held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Bridlewood Elementary in Flower Mound, TX from 4-8 pm. The event is being held by the community to support Bambi, Richi and Camden Trotter, their 2 year old son. Bambi Trotter is a beloved kindergarten teacher at Bridlewood Elementary in Flower Mound, while Richi is a well-known coach/teacher at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club. Unfortunately, their family is facing a crisis as Bambi was in a tragic head-on collision in August. The accident left her with a multitude of serious medical issues, including a brain injury and many broken bones, which prevented her from returning to Bridlewood to teach this fall. She is sorely missed and everyone remains hopeful that she will return to teaching as soon as she is able. Though Mrs. Trotter has made significant progress in her recovery thus far, the road to complete healing will be a long one indeed.
