2024 Summer Reading Club
Summer of Secrets is the theme for the summer reading challenges at the Library. Reading is a great summer activity, and it’s especially important for children to help them avoid “summer slide” of their academic skills. Fortunately, people of all ages can have fun and win prizes for reading during the summer at the Library. Four different challenges with age-appropriate prizes are offered.
All challenges run June 1 through July 31. Visit one of the Library service desks or our website beginning in May 20 for details. Challenge categories are:
- Babies through PreK
- Kindergarten through Grade 5
- Grades 6-12
- Adults

Weekly Storytime:
Summer Session: June 3 – July 31, 2024
Buzzing Bumblebees:
Geared toward children who are not yet walking and their grown-ups.
Meets on Mondays at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesdays at 11 a.m.
Wiggly Walkers:
Designed for “new walkers” up to the age of two and their grown-ups.
Meets Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. and Thursdays at 11 a.m.
Romping Rhymers:
Two- and three-year-olds and their grown-ups.
Meets on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.
Leaping Learners:
Children ages three to five and their grown-ups.
Meets Mondays at 11 a.m. and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
