Footlights Dance Studio has been in business for more than 20 years, having been voted Best of Denton County by Allen Publishing’s readers numerous years! Footlights, which also received 2 Reader’s Choice awards from Star Local Media, is a Christian owned and operated studio in Flower Mound near the intersection of 2499 and 3040. Easily accessible to Flower Mound, Highland Village, Lewisville and Grapevine, we encourage strong technique in dancers – teaching “HOW to dance, not just a specific routine” all done in a FUN, loving and safe environment.

The staff uses music carefully screened for lyric content, current popular costumes which are more on the conservative end and choreography which is not only “family-friendly,” but it is their hope, glorifying to God as well.

Footlights offers MANY types of dance and has both competitive and non-competitive classes. It’s competitive teams have won an incredible number of awards at both regional and nationals, including many 1st overalls and special awards. The facility itself has six dance rooms with professional, floated floors as well as both a parent waiting area with closed circuit camera tvs in every room and a student lounge with tables and a microwave for those coming right from school or staying awhile!
